Green Changes in Pemberton staff during the first two years of our Journey to model green practices for our students and community:
- All bulletins from our principal. Dr. Kessler are electronic.
- Sunday night phone calls from our administration for weekly reminders have replaced paper newsletters.
- All teacher computers are set to print double sided unless a teacher goes into the settings and changes this default setting.
- Everyone in the school is asked to Power Down every Friday at 3:00 and work in natural light and also unplug all small appliances before leaving for the weekend.
- All staff have been asked to use environmentally safe cleaners in the classroom.
- Our office staff recycles ink cartridges from copy machines and printers in the building.
Sunday call that goes out to our families each week by Dr. Kessler our principal. The call is also sent in an email.
